​Four girls, Hazel, Kiera, Grace, and Tinsley, became friends while visiting Charity's Circulating Library. Together with Charity, the librarian, and Timothy, Tinsley's twin brother, the six friends formed a book club in 1806 London, England. Now, five years later, everyone except Charity is turning 18, and they will be presented to society in their first season. Hazel, Kiera, Grace, and Tinsley are excited for the parties, Timothy is excited to be around more men, and Charity is looking forward to some quiet she hasn't had in her library for years.
