My book, Child of Prophecy, will be a free e-book for Kindle for five days! August 6 - August 10!
A young woman, Sara, immune to magic, must gather her allies, skills, and wits to face her greatest enemy, the powerful Queen Filia, and free the people of Fedji from their evil tyrant, just as it is prophesied. But Sara has secrets linked to her mother which will affect her future.
“There will be a child born. The child will have a birthmark, a brown sword with three red rings around the tip. That child is the only one who will be able to kill Queen Filia.”
Craig Kender's family was murdered by Queen Filia when he was just a child. He was raised to be a warrior by his adopted uncle, Lance. The two travel, fighting to protect people from the queen's armies. A prophecy is told about the only person who can kill the queen, and Craig is shocked to learn that Lance's granddaughter, Sara, is the child of prophecy. Craig raises Sara since her mother, Ana, cannot. Resentful and angry that Ana abandoned Sara, Craig is taken off guard when he meets the beautiful woman who is Sara's secretive mother.
Craig and Ana soon fall in love, but things get complicated when Craig is captured by Queen Filia's men and given to Princess Dianastace as a slave.
